Carbs and glucose for diabetes
Food Health TxD helps people living with Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, or prediabetes track carbohydrate intake alongside glucose readings. It uses AI-powered photo scanning to estimate meal composition and logs readings from continuous glucose monitors via bridge apps. The goal is to help you see patterns between what you eat and how your glucose responds — for your own education and to share with your care team.
Why don't I see my Libre readings?
Food Health TxD reads glucose data from Apple Health. Your CGM readings must first be sent to Apple Health by a bridge app. For FreeStyle Libre, use LibreLinkUp, Sweet Dreams, or Glooko. Once the bridge app is writing glucose values to Apple Health, TxD will pick them up automatically.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Food Health TxD in the list and tap Cancel Subscription. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I export my data?
In TxD, go to Settings → Auto-export folder to set up continuous export. You can also use Import/Export TxD Bundle in Settings to create a one-time export of all your entries.
Does my photo leave my device?
Yes, but only at scan time. When you scan a meal, the photo is sent to an AI vision service (Anthropic) for analysis. It is not retained by the service after processing. Photos stored in your entry log remain on your device only.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings → Clear All Data to delete all locally stored entries, meals, and glucose readings. To request deletion of any server-side data tied to your device, email support.
Why does the app say my trial is still 7 days the next day?
The trial countdown is server-anchored to prevent clock manipulation. If the counter does not decrement after 24 hours, please contact support with your device details and we will investigate.
Open iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Food Health TxD. Turn off any data types you no longer want to share.
In TxD Settings, you can disable Apple Health writes entirely. When this toggle is off, TxD will still read from Apple Health but will not write any data back.
