Food Health TxD — Effective May 6, 2026
All meal entries, glucose readings, photos, and notes you create in Food Health TxD are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers and are not accessible to us.
Optional location data (used for restaurant tagging) is stored locally and never transmitted.
Meal photos at scan time. When you scan a meal, the photo is sent to Anthropic's vision API for nutritional analysis. The photo is processed in real time and is not retained by Anthropic after the response is returned.
Device metadata for subscription management. We send minimal metadata to our own service for trial and subscription bookkeeping:
We do not collect your name, email address, Apple ID, or any other personally identifiable information through the app.
TxD reads and writes Apple Health data only for the categories you explicitly authorize in iOS Settings. Authorized categories include blood glucose, body mass, and dietary nutrients (carbohydrates, sugar, protein, fiber, fat, calories).
You can revoke access at any time: iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Food Health TxD.
Apple Health data is never sent to our servers or any third party.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit 2. Purchase receipts are verified between your device and Apple's servers, and by our subscription verification service. We never see your payment method, credit card number, or Apple ID.
TxD uses Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and Firebase Analytics for basic usage analytics (screen views, feature usage). No advertising identifiers are collected. No third-party analytics SDKs are included beyond Firebase.
Food Health TxD is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
On device: Entries persist until you delete them via Settings → Clear All Data, or until you uninstall the app.
On our server: We retain only the device_uuid and subscription state. No personally identifiable information is stored.
To delete all local data, use Settings → Clear All Data in the app.
To request deletion of any server-side data associated with your device_uuid, contact us at steven.muskal@gmail.com.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
