Food Health AI Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Food Health AI handles information when you use the app.
Information We Access
With your permission, Food Health AI may access:
- Food log entries, notes, and optional photos you create in the app
- Apple Health data you explicitly authorize (for example: workouts, sleep, activity, and dietary energy)
- Basic app usage diagnostics needed for reliability and troubleshooting
How We Use Information
- Display your logs, reports, and scatter analysis
- Import and visualize Apple Health data you approve
- Support optional AI-assisted analysis when you configure an API key
Data Storage and Sharing
- Food Health AI is local-first: your data is stored on your device by default
- We do not sell personal data
- We do not share your personal health data except when required to deliver features you explicitly enable (for example, optional AI analysis requests)
Apple Health Data
- Health data is accessed only after you grant HealthKit permission
- You can revoke Health permissions anytime in iOS Settings
Third-Party Services
If you configure an external AI provider API key, selected content may be sent to that provider for analysis. Review your provider’s privacy terms before enabling this feature.
Your Choices
- Disable Apple Health access in iOS Settings at any time
- Delete app data from within the app or by removing the app from your device
